Just as the Great British summer looked not-so-great for V Festival goers this weekend, Sunday surprised everyone with a day of blazing sunshine and blaring tunes. 90,00o music lovers flocked over Staffordshire’s Weston Park yesterday, embraced with opening acts from Feeder and The Coral. A common consesus saw Pamola Faith as one of the best performers of the sunny Sunday line-up: chatting with the audience, jesting about David Guetta and hanging out with the crowds post-performance all contributed to her receiving a great reception. The sun and fun continued into the evening, beginning with the likes of Paul Weller, followed by Stereophonics who were reported to be crowd pleasers. V Festival made it a finale to remember finishing off the weekend with the much anticipated Kings of Leon, tactically saving the best until last with their smash hits, ‘Use Somebody’ and ‘Sex on Fire’ – the perfect end to a euphoric weekend.
