Exactly which Pixar films are you referring to as &quot;pleasing the pre-teen market, while failing to connect with an adult audience&quot;?  I certainly would never use the term &quot;churned out&quot; to describe any Pixar film; they&#039;re probably the most carefully crafted major studio releases of their era.  Thanks!</description>

		<description>I haven&#039;t seen this yet but it certainly looks quite mature. The last film I saw with an old man in the central role was Gran Torino (brilliant!). That certainly wasn&#039;t a film for children.</description>
