Congratulations, Clemency! Her debut novel ‘ The Other Side of the Stars’ has achieved critical acclaim across the board, following its publication last month.
The novel, which tells the story of a young actress struggling with the pressures of fame, has been decribed as ‘vivid and fluent’; and despite the similarities between Clemency herself, and the novel’s protagonist- she insists it isn’t autobiographical.
Quite how Clemency finds time to write best-selling novels, as well as maintaining her acting, political journalism and appearances on hardhitting programmes such as ‘Question Time’ is astounding. We’re exhausted just thinking about it…
