Tim Archer is the Conservative PPC for Poplar and Limehouse. Why did I ask him for an interview? Well, apart from the fact that Poplar and Limehouse is my constituency, it's also a very interesting seat. Over to UK Polling Report:

One of the reasons I will always vote Conservative is because of their ideological belief in reducing the size of the state. The majority of 'problems', for which government seeks policy 'solutions', are national in nature - schools, hospitals, immigration, housing - but local in their specifics. Try not to glaze over. The MPs' expenses implosion has been death by a thousand receipts not just for the reputation of Parliament but for anybody interested in current political affairs. My brain is no longer able to compute nor care about the endless minutiae of their unintentional fraudulence, which, given the nature of the story, is the only manner in which it can be presented.
