Julien Plante of Cinemoi takes us around this year’s Cannes Film Festival, promising to bring us all the stars, glamour and news from the festival.

In an exclusive interview, Artistic Director of Cannes, Thierry Fremaux explains how the jury process works and what their responsibilities are – as well as explaining what a great pleasure it is to be so involved with the festival, even though at times he admits it can be very difficult.

This year’s jury includes Tim Burton and Kate Beckinsale –  who at this year’s press conference explained how being involved in the festival is an excellent opportunity to see what’s happening in the world of cinema.

As much as it’s renowned for it’s celebration and showcase of new cinema, Cannes is equally well known for it’s star studded red carpets, and this year’s opening ceremony did not disappoint – with the likes of Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett and Salma Hayek. We also meet Jean Roche, the owner of VIP Room, which is the party to be seen at every night during the festival. Jean tells us how his nights attract all different kinds of celebrities – from actors, to singers and everyone in between.
