New York Fashion Week Begins!

IT’S FASHION WEEK! First thing that happened, at my first show, ANNA WINTOUR casually slinks into an elevator with me. She’s totally alone, no minions. What? That happens? But hey I am totally keeping my cool. I just happen to freak out and drop my phone mid-Tweet everytime I spot the geometric-print leggings, black sequins and feather boleros coming at me on the way to shows. I assumed it would be 100% unglamorous blood sweat & tears to cover events and document the work of stylists backstage, but instead, there’s a relaxed party vibe. Here are some pictures of hair styled by the lovely Amy Farid for LnA’s Spring 2011 Collection show at MILK Studios Thursday night. There were a zillion famo people, and among my faves were Susie Bubble, my blogging idol, who has the most covetable English accent; and Dan Keyes, the always charming frontman of Young Love.
