On the preview evening of Art London, Dominic Tighe of Blake describes his first experience of going to an art gallery before digressing onto talking about snogging with Shirley Bassey.

‘Turano was having a display and I went in and it was the first time really I had gone into an art gallery of my own accord. I have to say that I found the curator and the attendants the most welcoming people, they were so accomodating.’

Fellow band member Stephen Bowman thinks the art market is a sound investment in a time of economic crisis. ‘It’s about finding something that will be loved in years to come. Whereas stock markets may go up and down I think good quality art will always be loved and will always have a value in people’s hearts.’
