A first appearance at an event of this scale must be like the first day of school – nerve-wracking, a little daunting but with an overpowering element of excitement. One of this year’s new kids on the block is contemporary gallery Stephanie Hoppen based on London’s Walton Street.
Expect a group exhibition including works from painter François Bard (‘Call Me’ and ‘Nocturnes’ are ones to keep a beady eye open for) and photographer Nancy Wilson-Pajic, who has whipped up a storm with her works derived from an exclusive access to an entire archive of haute couture, courtesy of Mr Lacroix himself. This gallery is clearly a force to be reckoned with.
