If you’re interested to see the art that hangs on the walls of the homes of Mick Jagger and George Michael – if that’s your thing – stop by the Laniado stand at Art London to see a selection of works by Adam Ball, shortlisted for the Jerwood Prize 2007.
Every good event needs a a worthy cause and this year Ball’s work is presented by the Laniado Hospital, the sole hospital in Netanya, Israel. Founded by Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Halberstam z’tl, what makes this hospital truly different is that it is run entirely according to Halachic Jewish Law but with compassion at its heart it treats anyone regardless of creed, colour or race.
Be sure to pay a visit to the Laniado stand; Ball’s seemingly camo-inspired hues will truly transport you to another plane and leave you reaching for your cheque book.
