Alice looked stunning at the Sex and the City 2 premiere, in a demure grey L'Wren dress. Also rumoured to be starring in Avengers are Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. Avengers is likely to be biggest blockbuster of 2012.

Alice Eve is one of the rumoured contenders for Joss Whedon’s new superhero movie, The Avengers. The Avengers first appeared in Marvel comics in the 1960s and the film is likely to be one of the biggest blockbusters of 2012. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Samuel L. Jackson are all being mooted as potential stars. Marvel reportedly is keen to bring in Edward Norton to play the Hulk once again.

Alice Eve, has most notably acted in “Sex and the City 2″ as Charlotte’s nanny and ”She’s Out of My League” as the leading lady, Molly. It is said that she is competing against Scarlett Johansson for the role, but the character has not yet been confirmed. Malin Akerman was rumoured to also be competition but she recently denied the rumours to the Press Association, saying that they were after all, only rumours but that she would have loved to be in the film.

As Alice has just come on the scene we haven’t yet sussed out her style, but at the SATC 2 US premiere, Alice was pictured looking gorgeous wearing a demure grey L’Wren Scott dress. This look was perhaps an attempt to show that she doesn’t dress like her dressed down, bra-less character in the film.

Alice obviously has the talent and beauty to make it big and the British star seems to be rising even higher in Hollywood.

Alice Eve was apparently apprehensive to star as Irish nanny Eve in 'Sex and the City 2' yet she confessed the set was one of the "smoothest" she had worked on.

Alice Eve was apparently apprehensive to star as Irish nanny Eve in ‘Sex and the City 2′… apparently because she viewed the film as a female version of ‘The Godfather’!

Eve admitted she was nervous to appear in ‘Sex and the City 2′ the American romcom. Yet after working alongside Penelope Cruz, Miley Cyrus and Liza Minnelli she confessed the set was one of the “smoothest” she had worked on.

“It was crazy for me to be in that movie. It’s like ‘The Godfather’ for women! But it was all so slick, easily one of the smoothest sets I have been on, like a well oiled machine… aside from the screaming toddlers.”

Alice claimed Sarah Jessica Parker, the lead actress was a pleasure to work with. She said:

“She’s absurdly nice, shockingly nice.”

You can now see Alice – the daughter of Trevor Eve – in ‘She’s Out of My League’, playing Molly.

Sex And The City 2: From New York to Abu Dhabi, Alice Eve stirs things up in SATC2

Sex And the City 2 is just a week away and we could just explode with excitement – as our favourite New Yorkers upsticks from the big apple and head to Abu Dhabi…

And of course it’s not all plain sailing – with rumours of a lesbian fling involving the beautiful Alice Eve, Carrie and Big being ’somewhere between wed and baby’ and Samantha going through the ‘big change’…not to mention a big wedding, a healthy dose of A list cameos and a few blasts from the past!

Sarah Jessica Parker once described the fashion as the ‘fifth character’ in the series – and the sequel will be no different – as it has emerged that the film features and incredible £7 million worth out outfitters so watch out the £34,000 Chanel dress worn by Carrie, £1000 Roland Mouret Brise Noire dress worn by Miranda and Samantha’s £3500 red dress from New York design duo The Blonds. And don’t forget the shoes – including Carrie’s £700 gold pigalle Christian Louboutin’s which she wears in the poster…

However, the film has also had its fair share of controversy – with several commentators querying the choice of setting the film in Abu Dhabi, with it’s deplorable record on women’s rights – while others have bemoaned the glut of sequels that are hitting cinemas this summer…

The jury is out …!

Sex And The City 2: Alice Eve joins the SATC girls along with Penelope Cruz and Miley Cyrus

Sex and the City 2 is set for release on May 28th 2010, and the wonderful Alice Eve will be taking to the big screen as Charlotte’s 20 year old nanny to her two children, Lily and Rose, and rumour has it she is set to cause some tension between our four favourite New Yorkers…. we can hardly wait!

The sequel joins Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte following 2008’s installment and it looks like this years foray around Manhattan will be even more exciting – with cameos from everyone including Penelope Cruz (who said she wanted her cameo to last longer as she enjoyed working with SJP so much), Miley Cyrus and even British-Iranian comedian Omid Djalli…

And it seems that it’s not only us who are desperate to know what’s going to happen with Big and Carrie / Samantha and Smith / Miranda and Steve…as apparently Victoria Beckham was also interested in a starring role.

Despite having starred in the likes of Starter for Ten, Alice Eve isn’t just a film actress – she has also taken to the stage as an actress in the Tom Stoppard play, Rock ‘ N ‘ Roll. Speaking exclusively to t5m, Alice tells us all about the inspiration an actor needs – and how this inspiration is interwined with the day – to – day happenings in an actor’s life…

Speaking about Rock ‘ N ‘ Roll, Alice explains how it deals with issues like communism and the indie revolution from 1968-1990, whilst at the same time mirroring the state we are currently in.

Alice Eve , the daughter of actors Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan speaks exclusively to t5m about the challenges of acting, mainly, how she struggles to cry on cue. Alice tells us that when she knows she has an emotional scene she has to prepare in advance by being in a grump.

Alice tells us that she stays in this mood for days, and finds it hard to return to planet happy immediately. She goes on to say that scenes such as these, as well as love scenes take some degree of preperation. You can only prepare 50% and the other 50% depends on the other person you are in the scene with. It’s easy to fall in love with your fellow actor, she tells t5m, and even easier to fall out of love with them!

In an exclusive interview with t5m, Alice Eve tells us how she was very demanding from a young age, and that she pleaded with her parents to let her act. They, however, were adamant that she go to university and complete her degree.

Nonetheless, Alice won the argument (eventually!) and was able to take a gap year in Los Angeles to pursue her dreams at the Beverley Hill Playhouse. Her soul search left her ‘fatter’ than she would have liked, and unexpectedly jobless. She returned to England clueless as to what she wanted to do. In the end, she decided to go to Oxford University to read English- meeting her parents halfway. Good compromise!

Alice also tells us that her proudest moment at university was starring in the production of ‘Scenes from an Execution’ …not graduating from the world’s most prestigious University, wow?

It was totally unconscious, she reveals to t5m, but it was all she could think throughout her whole audition!

Alice also talks about the creative make up of every individual, and how different we all are. Alice tells us that her friends are brilliant painters because it is within them, but that if she learned to paint she would never be as good as them, regardless of the number of lessons she has!
