Will Ramsay, the founder of the Affordable Art Fair is optimistic about this year’s fair. ‘We’ve had more tickets sales and enquiries than ever before.’
It seems that even with the current lack of economic stability, Ramsay remains confident that their historical figures – that one in every four people walk away with a purchase – shall remain, as people who may have bought above their £3,000 limit previously may be tightening the belts and coming within their remit this year.
Will is standing next to a piece by Rebecca Hossack, a portrait of the former chief exec of RBS, Fred Goodwin. Ironically, it is created completely from one pence pieces.
